Ballots for Labour’s internal elections are dropping now.
Everyone has the chance to vote for our representatives on the Conference Arrangements Committee. Momentum is backing Seema Chandwani and Billy Hayes, who have stood up for grassroots members and ensured democratic debate at Conference since they were first elected in 2017.
But if you are registered with the party as belonging to a liberation category, your ballot will also give you the chance to vote for the Young Labour Equalities representatives.
When you cast your ballot, make sure you vote for Socialist Future candidates who will fight for liberation, not just representation.
Standing on the Socialist Future slate is:
- Aisha Malik-Smith (@avocadamn) for Disabled Members’ Officer
- Grace Ashworth (@GraceJennifer98) for Women’s Officer
- Abdullah Okud (@AbdullahOkud) for BAME Officer
- Torr Robinson (@Torr_ro) for LGBT+ Officer
Want to know more about the candidates?
Last year we got Socialist Future candidates elected to Young Labour National Committee, and they have been doing crucial work of building a vibrant socialist youth movement.
Vote for Socialist Future candidates for Equalities Reps and let’s build on this progress – only with a strong socialist youth wing will Labour meet the challenges of the 21st Century.
So please vote:
✅ Seema and Billy for CAC
✅ Socialist Future for Young Labour Equalities
